Wake up 7h00 am. The weather is quite chilli. Yesterday, the temperature was 30 degrees. Today, it's more 15° and it's raining a bit. Melbourners talk about their weathers using the words "On/off, On/off", That's mains twisted. They talked about four saisons in one day..

The coatch started on 8h45 am from Melbourne's downtown. Direction : Grampians National Park throught Ballarat. Duration : 4 hours. We will get a documentary about the kangaroos during the journey..

My cousin, who was with us, will be the only Australian with the driver. International tour

First Stop : Ballarat Wildlife park. http://www.ballarat.com/wildlife.htm

A 30 minutes stop. We will get the schedulled "Morning Tea" there. For only 6$ A you will be able to have a look in the park (But 30 minutes is rather a quick time? This is why it's cheaper).

Our first Kangaroos and first Koala.

12 am arriving in the Grampians National Park. http://www.ballarat.com/grampians.htm

One hour stop for lunchtime. We only could find a self service. Weather is still very foggy..

The driver and guide still advertised us. We gonna see all schedulled places, but the weather was not schedulled. No garanty. Thats all we had as view. It's well a pity as we went back down the fog vanished.

Jaws of Death (Different as on the other web site)

Than, before an exploration of the greatest waterfalls of Victoria, we taste a Billy Tea (in fact it's tea boil on a firewood, but a big Thermos will give us the hot water. We don't really have time to make some fire) with vegemite crackers (a sort of black pasta made with yeast) and lamington cakes (that was quite good).

McKenzie Falls

And finally our first wild kangaroos and parrots

On the way back we will stop in Ballarat in a typical australian's Pub. We will also get "The Man from Snowy River" on the coatch's TV from the famous Australian poems : Banjo Paterson,

Back in Melbourne on 9h30 pm.
